Luke joined Vocus in September 2012 as Chief Operating Officer. An entrepreneurial and results-driven IT leader, Luke combines vast management experience, a deep understanding of legacy and emerging technologies, and a strong set of analytical, modelling and business planning skills.
Never one to miss an opportunity, Luke established his own successful ISP at the age of 19, which later became the first business in Australia to adopt satellite as a delivery method of IP Transit.
With an affinity for negotiating and managing multimillion dollar networking projects, Luke’s CV features some iconic achievements – not least, building Australia's largest IPTV platform as Director of Operations for FetchTV. His real passion is in projects that disrupt the market and challenged incumbents to do things better.
At Vocus, Luke has had a number of broad roles overseeing the operations of the business and its technical direction. In these roles, he has apply his knowledge and experience of the Australian Telecommunications industry to improving every single moving part of the Vocus organisation. A big fan of the Vocus point of difference, Luke believes innovation and competitive offerings are what set the business apart.
Outside of Vocus, when not relaxing with his family, you’ll find Luke fishing, riding mountain bikes, and volunteering at his local surf life saving club.
