Australia Singapore Cable

The Australia Singapore Cable (ASC) is a new 4600km submarine cable system linking Australia to Singapore, via Indonesia. With an estimated completion date of mid-2018, the four-pair fibre network will deliver a minimum of 40Tbps of capacity, and by early 2020, will be the only system to offer fully protected and redundant options from Singapore and Jarkata to every capital city in Australia. The 4600km cable will be positioned to deliver the lowest latency on high capacity routes from Australia to Asia and Europe. The ASC is owned by Vocus Group, a world class telecommunications infrastructure provider operating across Australia and New Zealand, who provide solutions to meet the growing demand for resilient, secure and reliable network connectivity.
