David James, Practice Leader, Wholesale Telecoms, Ovum Ltd

David James is the Practice Leader of and Principal Analyst in Ovum's Wholesale Telecoms team, which focuses on wholesale telecoms market developments, player strategies and evolving wholesale customer demands. He joined Ovum’s dedicated Wholesale Telecoms research team in 2003 and has led it since 2005. Over that time he has led research into the strategies of leading players in the wholesale market, devised forecast models for a variety of wholesale services, managed wholesale customer surveys and undertaken studies on a variety of aspects of wholesale telecoms.

David has also advised wholesalers on their national and international strategies, sizing their potential markets, analysing their competitive landscapes, and improving their customer service interactions and responsiveness. He has chaired and spoken at conferences and wholesalers events in Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Ovum,  he worked for Logica, Kingston-SCL and Aspect Communications.
