Ms Kylie Cooper | Marketing Communication Officer
Newcastle Airport Limited

Ms Kylie Cooper, MarComm Officer, Newcastle Airport Limited

Kylie was recruited by Newcastle Airport in January with one of her major projects being to develop and implement the organisation’s social media presence as the Airport takes its first steps in this weird, wonderful and foreign world. Kylie graduated with Bachelor of Communication from the University of Newcastle in 2007 and has experience across a range of communication mediums including press, high-end consumer magazines, and creative design. In addition to this Kylie worked for a strategic communication consultancy where she managed high-profile industry clients and learned the art of reputation management through strategic PR (which can often include mastering staying out of the media eye). Kylie has learned that the benefits of working in corporate communication can mean perks such as getting to ‘work’ on Facebook and the like... a complete bonus of the field of work and not at all why she went into it!
