An Indonesian citizen. Mr. Joseph Lumban Gaol was joined and appointed as Chief Digital Services Officer of PT XL Axiata Tbk in 2016. Previously he was a CEO and Founder of m-STARS (PT Antar Mitra Prakasa) from 2000 to 2016. Prior to that, he was a Senior Product Manager of PT Excelcomindo Pratama from 1998 – 2000. He once held several key positions in PT General Lighting Indonesia amongst others as Sales Engineer (1994), Associate Product Manager (1994 – 1996),Product Manager (1996 – 1997) and Marketing Manager ( 1997 – 1998 ) and also as Management System Information Developer for PLN from 1993 – 1994. He holds a BSc of Computer Science from Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia in 1994.
