Luis Quijano is Director of Financial Services at Bepensa Group, a financial services division. Mr. Quijano also founded The Yucatan Consulting Group, a consulting company and Financiera Yucateca SOFOM. He was previously the Head of Personal Financial Services at HSBC, Mexico, in charge of retail banking products nationwide, including deposits, credit cards, mortgages, consumer lending, international products, and premier service. Mr. Quijano was also the member of the Executive Committee and the Committees of Risks, Treasury, Assets and Liabilities and Director of Board of HSBC Seguros. He joined HSBC (former Bital) in 1990 and developed the bank to become number one in revenue, deposits, branches, productivity, market share, labor environment, when he was the Executive Director. Mr. Quijano won the National Quality Award in 2003. He is also the Chairman of Financial Multiple Object Societies Association in Yucatan and member of Board of cultural and humanitarian foundations.
