Juliette Marais, Research Fellow, IFSTAR

Dr-Ing Juliette Marais received the Engineer degree from ISEN in 1998, a master of Electronics in 1999 and a PhD in Electronics in 2002. Her PhD was dealing with satellite availability prediction in rail applications and has conducted to the PREDISSAT software development. Her research interest is in GNSS performance analysis and enhancement taking into account the specificity of propagation effects in transport constrained environments. In particular, her recent projects focused on GNSS integrity concept adaptation for railway needs and methodology for GNSS-based system certification.
She has been involved in the DEUFRAKO-P, LOCOPROL, Satloc, Galoroi and STARS projects dealing with satellite-based systems for railway at the European level and will be part of two starting projects ERSAT GGC and X2Rail-2 (of the Shift2Rail program). Juliette Marais is the author or co-author of about 60 technical papers, 15 research reports and is titular of one international patent.
