Cécile Saint-Marc, Project Manager, SNCF Reseau

Cecile Saint-Marc holds a PHD in Geographic Information Science, specialized in information visualization and spatial analysis.  Thanks to her contribution SNCF (French Railway) has acquired a deeper understanding of vegetation-linked risks and maintenance costs.
Before that she passed a Master Degree of Agronomic Engineering and worked on the design of cartography for experts of natural risks, in the fields of volcanology and floods. There she was in touch with Ministery of Ecology and Environment to share this knowledge with at-risk territories.
After three years at SNCF Reseau Cécile was transferred from the mother company to the ALTAMETRIS spin-off where she works as Geo-scientist and project manager for high-value added services. Daily, she is in touch with Asset Managers from large infrastructure companies in order to help improve and optimise their understanding and approach of geographic risks.
