Abdulkadir Keskinaslan, Head Medical Education Strategy LACan, Novartis Ag

Abdulkadir Keskinaslan, MD, MBA, MPH is currently leading Medical Education and Engagement Strategy for Latin America & Canada for Novartis, shaping the strategic roadmap and vision for the future of medical education in collaboration with healthcare community. In addition, he is an Affiliate Assistant Professor at School of Pharmacy, University of Washington focusing on capability building programs in Health Economics and Health Policy. Previously, Abdulkadir has worked across Access and External Affairs functions in the pharmaceutical industry at country, regional and global settings; Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Pricing, Patient Access, Regulatory, Policy, and Corporate Communications.

In addition to his operational role, he has been leading stakeholder engagement in access to medicines for more than a decade and founded a research and policy exchange platform, Future Trends Workshop series, for leaders across academy, pharmaceutical industry and regulatory and payer bodies. He has established Health Economics and Health Policy Diploma and Master’s Degree Programs in the US, Asia, Pacific and Africa. Currently, he is part of a European Commission funded K2 Project team developing Erasmus Plus pan-European HTA Master’s Degree Program.

Abdulkadir is an MD from Istanbul University with residency in Family Medicine and holds an MBA from Yeditepe University and MPH from Harvard School of Public Health. His publications encompass a wide array of real world evidence categories; epidemiology, burden of disease, effectiveness, compliance, and pricing.
