Dr Graaff spent 4 years in administration form development in Organon, and 7 years in pharmacokinetics and preclinical development at Solvay. He then made the switch from R&D to policy development and moved to Nefarma, the Dutch Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry. He has acted both as a regulatory expert (6 years) and a biotech and innovation expert (6 years). He joined the Dutch Healthcare Reimbursement Authority (CVZ), in 2008 in his current position. Colin Wight, Chief Executive, founded GalbraithWight Ltd, the Strategic Healthcare Business Consultancy, in January 1997. Starting originally with Glaxo in R&D, Colin has thirty years healthcare industry experience, including twelve years with Merck & Co Inc, three years as Marketing Director for Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi-Aventis), and four years as Sales Director and Sales and Marketing Director for Bristol-Myers Squibb. Colin has been a member of global strategic marketing teams for cardiovascular and respiratory products, and global salesforce effectiveness teams. He has worked alongside leading management consultants including McKinsey and Boston Consulting, and has worked with the positioning experts and well-known authors Al Ries and Jack Trout. He has been responsible for some of the most successful launches, including Innovace and Zocor. Most recently, Colin authored ‘Scrip’s Guide to Successful Pharmaceutical Marketing’; a detailed insight into pharmaceutical marketing in the 21st Century.
