Colin Wight, Chief Executive, founded GalbraithWight Ltd 15 years ago in January 1997. Dedicated 100% to healthcare, GalbraithWight specialises in global healthcare Consultancy including market access & commercial excellence, and Learning & Development solutions from the GalbraithWight Business School which delivers training to people from 70 countries.
Starting originally with Glaxo in R&D, Colin has over thirty years healthcare industry experience, including twelve years with Merck & Co Inc, three years as Marketing Director for Rhone-Poulenc Rorer (now Sanofi-Aventis), and four years as Sales Director and Sales and Marketing Director for Bristol-Myers Squibb.
Colin has been a member of global strategic marketing teams for cardiovascular and respiratory brands, and global salesforce effectiveness.
He has worked alongside leading management consultants including McKinsey and Boston Consulting, and has worked with the positioning ‘Gurus’ and well-known authors Al Ries and Jack Trout.
Colin has been responsible for some of the most successful launches, including Taxol and Zocor. Colin often Chairs international meetings on Market Access, Pricing & Reimbursement. He has authored several papers including ‘Scrip’s Guide to Successful Pharmaceutical Marketing’; a detailed insight into pharmaceutical marketing in the 21st Century, & many papers & articles on market access.
Colin is a member of a number of cross-industry committees advising industry on market access & the evolving healthcare environment globally.
