European turboprop aircraft manufacturer ATR is the world leader in the 50 to 74-seat turboprop market, by offering comfortable, reliable, easy-to-maintain and environmental-friendly aircraft. ATR 42 and ATR 72 feature the lowest fuel consumption per passenger and the lowest CO2 emissions of the regional aviation. ATR’s newest -600 series’ entered into service in August 2011. ATR, an equal partnership between Alenia Aermacchi (a Finmeccanica company) and EADS, counts 175 operators in 94 countries, and has sold more than 1,200 aircraft since the beginning of the programme.
