Dr.GS Reddy joined as a Senior Vice President with Brilliant Bio Pharma Pvt. Ltd., a major veterinary vaccines manufacturer in India in January, 2018. He worked as a Senior Vice President with Indian Immunologicals Limited, a leading veterinary and human vaccines manufacturer in India from 1984 to 2017. He obtained basic degree in Veterinary medicine (B.V.Sc) from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, Hyderabad and Masters degree in Microbiology (M.Sc) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur.  He has 38 years of experience in industry, developing veterinary and human biologicals. Experience encompasses Quality, Research and Development, Manufacturing and Regulatory affairs. He was heading the team which was involved in manufacturing of human rabies vaccine, recombinant hepatitis B, Measles, DPT, TT, DT and DPTH vaccines and veterinary vaccines such as FMD, Rabies, HS, BQ, PPR, Theileriosis, Enterotoxaemia, Classical swine fever, canine vaccines etc.  He worked on a collaborative vaccine development projects with Georg August University, Gottingen, Germany and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Atlanta, USA.  He was trained in conducting clinical trials at Seoul, South Korea. He is a co-author of patent on DNA Rabies vaccine. He coordinated clinical trials of Rabies, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Measles, DT, TT, DTP and pentavalent vaccines. He has published 57 scientific papers in various Indian and international journals. His articles received the best article medals four times from Indian Veterinary Journal.  He represented India at many international fora such as World Vaccine Congress, Bio Pharma held in USA, Europe, China, Singapore, South Korea etc. as a speaker. He worked as an Editor to the “Raksha Technical Bulletin”, a NAAS accredited veterinary journal for 6 years.  Initially he worked as an Assistant Executive with National Dairy Development Board (NDDB), Anand from 1981 to 1984 as a key player in ‘Operation Flood’ programme under the leadership of Dr.Verghese.Kurien.
