Geoffrey Glauser, Former Supply Chain Executive, Pfizer & Merck

Geoffrey Glauser is currently an SME and contractor with Tunnell Consulting in support of the Pharmaceutical Countermeasures Infrastructure Division of the Biomedical Advancement Research Development Authority (BARDA) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) within Health and Human Services (HHS).  This division contracts the development, and supply of vaccines, antivirals, diagnostics, therapeutics and ancillary products for Pandemic Influenza, Project BioShield, and research and development Programs.  He is a contributing technical author to the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA) publications and the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). He worked with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Sierra Leone on a Phase 2-3 Ebola vaccine, and therapeutic project team clinical trials during the 2014-5 outbreak addressing field operations, products handling, regulatory, cost savings, quality and planning issues.
Mr. Glauser has previously worked in line and staff positions with Merck & Co Inc., Pfizer (Wyeth) Pharmaceuticals, and Fisher Clinical Services. He has directed supply chain, clinical supplies, biological, sterile and chemical planning and manufacturing activities with in-line, new product and clinical biological and pharmaceutical entities both domestically and internationally.
A former US Navy officer and engineer, Mr. Glauser has a microbiology degree from Indiana University.
