Mr David Shackleton | Chief Operating Officer

Mr. David Shackleton is Chief Operating Officer of Dusit International, responsible for helping to reinforce the company’s growth, capabilities and profit performance.  He has nearly three decades of experience in the hospitality industry and started his hotel management career in London, UK before moving to Canada with Westin Hotels & Resorts. 

Mr. Shackleton subsequently worked in senior management and Vice President roles with Starwood Hotels and Resorts in America, Singapore, South Africa, Korea, Thailand and Australia.  He left Starwood in 2005 as Senior Vice President.  His most recent position was as Vice President of Operations, East China for the InterContinental Hotel Group, based in Shanghai.
