Mr Iain Pringle, Head of Strategy, Avios Group

As Head of Strategy, Iain provides strategic support to the AGL management team for the company’s global loyalty programmes.  He is responsible for the development and production of AGL’s long term business plan, proactively identifying and sharing insights on market developments, innovations and new ways of working which will benefit stakeholders and partners.    Iain’s career in the loyalty industry spans 18 years.  Within AGL, he has held roles in Partner Management and Customer Insight, gaining an unrivalled understanding of how customer rewards can influence the value that partners gain from a loyalty programme.  This experience, combined with an in-depth comprehension of business operations, means that Iain has been instrumental in developing actionable solutions which have driven real commercial advantage for AGL, including the company’s market entry strategy for its recent launch in South Africa.   Iain joined the AGL team in 2007.  Previously, he was Partnership and Affinity Manager at EDF Energy, where his role included the development and delivery of the Nectar loyalty scheme.  He has also held senior positions with Shell’s SMART loyalty programme, and at specialist partnership marketing constancy, Affinity Solutions.
