Mr Daniel Wan, President, Asia Society of Visual Merchandisers

Daniel is the president and founder of Asia Society of Visual Merchandisers (ASVM) and has more than 20 years of work exposure in various commercial sectors covering retail, brand marketing, licensing and project management etc.    Daniel is often invited by various public bodies to speak about Visual Merchandising.  These include Metro Radio Hong Kong, Hong Kong TVB, Rotary Club Hong Kong, Sun Hung Kai Properties, The Hong Kong Retail Management Association, The Link, REIT, Hong Kong IVE and Ling Nam University etc.    He was interviewed by various media like SCMP, Ming Pao, and Daily Oriental etc. on the issues in Visual Merchandising.  Occasionally, Daniel also wrote for some magazines like Jewelry News Asia, The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce etc.  In addition, he lectured at various institutions including Darwin University Australia, Hong Kong Baptist University, and Hong Kong Productivity Council etc.  He also served as the course advisor in visual merchandising for various institutions including Tsing Hua University at Beijing and Ling Nam University in Hong Kong etc.    Daniel served a member of the Judging Panel for the Preliminary Interview of the 2012 & 2013 Service & Courtesy Award. In Feb 2014, Daniel was granted Retail Leadership Award at Asia Retail Congress at Mumbai. Recently, he was one of the advisors for Asia Retail Expo 2014 in Hong Kong.   Daniel mainly assists the Society in providing Corporate Training and Branding Consultation to public corporations;  namely Simmons Hong Kong, Ngong Ping 360, Ying Kee Tea House, Baleno China, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Metrojaya Department Store, Malaysia etc.
