Omar Akilah is the Vice President of Product for GrandCanals – the market leader in Analytics-Driven Fulfillment. Omar was previously the Director of Product Management for Digital Fulfillment at Target. In this role he modernized the inventory and fulfillment infrastructure for Target’s omni channel and digital efforts. The platform became central to Target’s omnichannel strategy that utilized fulfillment to further connect with Target’s customer base, increasing conversion, loyalty, and reliability. Before that he was a senior leader at Apple where he strategized and created custom solutions to address a variety of worldwide supply chain challenges across OEMs, Contract Manufacturers, 3PLs, and owned facilities.
