Rita Martello received her degrees in pharmaceutical chemistry from University of Bologna, Italy and her PhD in Biology from University of Konstanz, Germany.
Rita gained experience in LC-MS/MS based proteomics as postdoctoral fellow at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research in Copenhagen, where she applied those techniques to investigate DNA damage repair mechanisms. Finally, she moved to industry (Bayer AG) where she started working in DMPK, developing assays for assessing PK/PD of biologics. Rita is currently laboratory head in DMPK at Sanofi, deeply involved in the preclinical evaluation of biologics.
