Dr Elizabeth Trainor Schoenfeld, Fellow, Division of Bacterial, Parasitic and Allergenic Products, Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, F.D.A

Elizabeth Trainor is currently a staff fellow at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) in the laboratory of Tod Merkel. Their lab studies the causative agent of the whooping cough, Bordetella pertussis and developed the non-human primate model of pertussis. She received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Mississippi State University and her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Louisiana State University Health Science Center- Shreveport.
