Mr Christopher Anand, Head of Emerging Media, Reliance Retail

Christopher Anand heads Emerging Media for Reliance Retails leisure format – Reliance TimeOut. He spent the early years of his career with one of India’s first ITES companies, 24/7 Customer and subsequently Aditya Birla Minacs. Across his time there, he acquired a rich background of the business of business process outsourcing, training, transitions, quality control, customer service and employee engagement. Thereafter he completed a fulltime MBA at XLRI Jamshedpur and graduated in 2005 with specializations in HR & Operations. Choosing to go off the regular path, his post MBA stints were at The Fuller Life (TFL), a start-up specializing in customer and employee engagement & subsequently End To End Marketing Solutions, one of India’s top 10 integrated marketing services companies. He Headed Sales & Marketing at both these companies. This sojourn into start-up & agency streams gave him wide exposure to online engagement & digital initiatives of many Fortune 500 companies present in India. At Reliance TimeOut, his role covers management of all digital initiatives including emerging retail technologies, at-store kiosk systems, social media strategies, digital marketing & ecommerce.
