Shinichi Koizumi, Ph.D. has experience in drug discovery more than 20 years and is one of founders of RaQualia and currently serving as Head of Research and CSO. Before starting RaQualia Shinichi was responsible as Head of Biology in Pfizer Central Research Laboratories at Nagoya and contributed producing several development candidates in the field of Pain, Gastro Intestinal Diseases. Shinichi joined Ciba-Geigy in 1989 and after the merger with Sandoz, he became a Head of Biology in Novartis Tsukuba Research Institute and contributed to the drug discovery research in the various therapeutic areas such as neuroscience, oncology, metabolic diseases, pain etc...
