Mr. Harry Krensky | Managing Partner Discovery Americas
Harry Krensky is Managing Partner of Discovery Americas, where he is a Founder, Principal and member of the investment committee of Discovery Americas I and II. Mr. Krensky serves on the boards of Discovery Americas I's portfolio companies Volaris, Umbral Capital, Ike Asistencia and LIPU in Mexico. He is a Principal and Founding Partner of Atlas with overall responsibility for the firm’s illiquid, private equity and debt investments. Previously, Mr. Krensky was a Co-Founder and Principal of alternative-asset management firm Discovery Capital Management, LLC. Over the past 15 years, Mr. Krensky has managed private equity and hedge fund investments and provided corporate finance and investment banking services in emerging markets. He was a Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Deutsche Bank where he founded and managed the DB New World Fund, an emerging markets hedge fund. Prior to this, he was a Director in the emerging markets group at Bear Stearns. Mr. Krensky has been an Adjunct Professor of International Business at New York University's Business School. Mr. Krensky graduated with distinction from Colby College, holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and earned an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Colby College, where he serves on the investment committee of the college's $500 million endowment.
