Google Express

In 2013, Mike joined Google Express,  a shopping experience that connects people to merchants. People love having their favorite products from their favorite stores delivered the same day or overnight; merchants love finding new customers and extending their reach.

Mike began at Google Express by launching same-day delivery in Manhattan in May 2014. Mike and his team built and sustained merchant partnerships, fulfillment operations, and transportation solutions required to deliver thousands of items each day to Manhattanites. The NY based team quickly gained a reputation for finding creative solutions and working hand-in-hand with merchants to improve and grow the customer experience. 

Mike now, along with an awesome team, is extending Google Express to millions more across the country by expanding overnight delivery. In just 3 months in 2015, Mike and his team expanded delivery to 25% of the US and prioritized 2016 efforts to continue that pace of growth.

Prior to joining Google, Mike spent many rewarding years at McMaster-Carr, an industry leading MRO supplier offering same and next day delivery, where he lead operations in fulfillment, customer experience, and marketing.  

Mike received his MBA from NYU (Strategy, Marketing) and is a graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology at the University of Pennsylvania (Business, Engineering). 

When not delighting Google Express customers, Mike enjoys traveling to warm locations, pretending to know about wine, and beating his husband in Flywheel.
