Kunal Thakkar | SVP of Operations

As the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Newegg, Kunal Thakkar oversees the company's global supply chain functions, including managing fulfillment, reverse logistics, transportation,  logistics infrastructure and operations strategy. In this role Mr. Thakkar has executed various initiatives to optimize the business process and successfully optimized Newegg’s supply chain to make it lean and more profitable. Under his leadership the operations team is responsible for various business units including B-C, B-B, Marketplace and 3PL services. He has also been very instrumental with the company’s global expansion efforts and corporate development and partnerships.
 
Prior to joining Newegg, Mr. Thakkar was the vice president of global operations and business strategy at a fashion apparel wholesaler, where he was responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the company. He also served as a supply chain management executive at UPS Professional Services where he worked with numerous Fortune 500 companies to help streamline operational processes and improve efficiency.
 
Kunal participates on the ecommerce customer advisory boards for few global transportation and logistics companies including FedEx and also serves on the advisory board for Narvar that focuses on post purchase customer experience solutions.
 
Mr. Thakkar holds a master of science in engineering management from California State University, Northridge and also received a global logistics specialist certification from California State University, Long Beach. He completed his undergraduate in Engineering from Mumbai University in India.
 
He enjoys spending time with his family and getting involved with nonprofit organizations and doing charity work.
