Dr Ewelina Hoffman, Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of Hertfordshire

Ewelina Hoffman is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Pharmacy, Pharmacology and Postgraduate Medicine at the University of Hertfordshire, UK. 
Ewelina graduated with a Master-level qualification in Pharmacy and completed her PhD in cancer cellular biology at the University of Lodz, Poland. Following on, Ewelina translated her skills into inhaled medicines development and pursued her current research interests as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Kings’ College London, before joining NC3R Crack-It Inhalation Translation Project in 2014. She has been involved in in-vitro work package, which included the development and validation of multi-parameter high-content assays to investigate alveolar macrophage responses to different stimuli. 
Dr Hoffman current interests focus on development in vitro cell culture models for lung diseases and investigation the interactions between alveolar cells and inhaled therapeutics.
