Over a 10 year career at Biogen, Eric has worked in various levels of Upstream Process Development, focusing primarily on scaling up Mammalian Cell Culture processes from laboratory bench scale to pilot scale to manufacturing scale.   He has experience transferring over 20 products from Research to Development and from Development to Manufacturing, 7 of which have become commercialized products.  Currently, Eric is working as a Program Manager in the Manufacturing Sciences department at Biogen’s Manufacturing Facility in Hillerod, Denmark, where he is responsible for Technology Transfer activities related to bringing new manufacturing drug substance processes into the facility.  Eric holds a Masters in Engineering Management from Duke University (2015), as well as a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University (2006).
