Vito Morawetz is a Vice President in the Access Practice in Cartesian’s Strategy group.   He joined Cartesian in January 2016.  Vito has over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry and management consulting

Prior to joining Cartesian, Vito held interim management executive positions at Vodafone, where he was Acting Director of Carrier Supply Management at Vodafone Carrier Services and Carrier Management lead at Vodafone US.    

Prior to this Vito was Interconnect Director at Virgin Media, with responsibility for all third party access and interconnect inputs feeding into Virgin Media own consumer, business and wholesale product portfolios.  

Vito also led the Interconnect function at Cable and Wireless and was Director of Carrier Management for UK, Ireland, Italy and Greece, and subsequently Director of Network Strategy and Analysis for the whole EMEA region at MCIWorldcom, roles which included commercial leadership for cross-border infrastructure in the region (pan-European and subsea facilities)

Earlier in his career Vito was a management consultant at DDV/Logica, CSMG, and BIS Nynex, and worked on assignments, mainly focused on cross-border and subsea service and network development in the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria, France, US and Canada.
