Mr. Alberto Araújo is a Managing Director at Kosmos Asset Management. He manages the firm’s São Paulo office in Brazil, overseeing the day-to-day trading desk activities, since risk controlling to all quantitative strategies implementation. Mr. Araújo holds a B.S. in Naval Engineering from São Paulo University (Polytechnic School - USP), a MBA in Business Services from FIA-USP and a Law B.A. from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP). He began his financial career as a trainee at Crédit Commercial de France (CCF) Brasil S.A. Bank and then joined Kosmos Asset Management in 2003 as partner, been responsible for all recruiting, training and operations management, including research of new trading systems/strategies and also responsible for brokerage/clearing/DR sponsors relationship management.
