Dr Joy Olbertz | Senior Director, Cardiovascular Safety Services

Dr.  Olbertz has 10 years of experience in clinical research, during which time she has taken on roles of increasing responsibility. In her current position as Senior Director of Cardiovascular Safety Services, she has played a key role in the advancement of the Celerion Cardiac Safety Service offerings including development of the Highly Automated ECG Core Lab. Before taking on this current role, Dr. Olbertz was the Senior Director of the Phoenix Clinical Site, overseeing financial and operational management for the 300 bed phase I clinic, one of the largest in the world.
 
Dr. Olbertz has distinguished herself during this time by presenting at meetings such as AAPS, ASCPT, and DIA on topics ranging from optimizing Thorough QT study design to initiating and managing operational efficiencies. Prior to joining Celerion, Dr. Olbertz was a Clinical Pharmacist at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, Idaho after completing her education at Idaho State University.
