Antje Walz is Head of Quantitative Systems Pharmacology, Pharma Research and Early Development at F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Ltd. Antje received her PhD in Biology from the University of Konstanz, Germany. She has more than 10 years of experience in translational Pharmacokinetic/Pharmacodynamic modelling and simulation. Her main interest is in applying modelling in simulation to bridge research and development. She currently leads the quantitative systems pharmacology group contributing to new approaches to discovering drugs and understanding therapeutic and adverse mechanisms. This includes support to project teams in selecting the right pathway, the right target, the right molecule and the right dose.
