Katy Read is Policy Manager on the Ofgem non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) Development team. She specialises in the technical areas of policy development such as biogas, CHP, metering, sustainability and air quality. Previous to this she was Technical Manager on the RHI Operations team. The RHI is designed to increase the uptake of renewable heat technologies by providing incentive payments to organisations which opt to generate heat from renewable rather than fossil fuels.
Before joining Ofgem, Katy was the UK Education Manager for ADInstruments – a software and hardware company in the field of life sciences education and research. Katy was responsible for sales, training and development with the UK education market.
