Mr. Anil Srivastava has 29 years of experience with Government of India as a member of Indian Administrative Service. His current assignment is Joint Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation & Chairman cum Managing Director of Pawan Hans Ltd. He has held various senior level positions of responsibility including that of Principal Secretary Department of Revenue, Principal Secretary New & Renewable Energy, Secretary Finance & Commissioner of Treasuries, Industries Commissioner. He was Director in the Boards of Hotline Glass Ltd., Fujitsu Optel Ltd., Optel Telecommunications Ltd., National Information Technologies Ltd, Delhi International Airport Ltd. and Mumbai International Airport Ltd.

Mr. Anil Srivastava had his education at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Maxwell School of Public Policy & Citizenship, Syracuse University, USA.

He is a Fellow of the Computer Society of India and he has held positions of the Vice President of the Society and Chairman of its Bhopal chapter for two tenures. He has participated and presented papers in World Bank Conference on Transparency, Indian Science Conference and other national and international conferences.

He was head of Indian delegation in High Level Aviation Security Conference at ICAO in Montreal during September, 2012. He was instrumental in promoting Cooperative Aviation Security Program in Asia Pacific when India was chairing it during 2012-13. He was assigned with the job of developing bigger Indian airports under Public Private Partnership and small and low cost airports for regional connectivity in India. Currently he is working on developing Regional & Remote Area Air Connectivity Policy for India and his initiatives have been appreciated for developing new Bilateral Air Service Agreements with different countries. He led Indian delegation to World Routes Conference at Las Vegas in 2013 and in Abu Dhabi in 2012. At Las Vegas in October, 2013, he spoke about “The Next Market Opportunities” in „Invest & Manage”, a session on the best practice investment and operational strategies for airports.

He led Indian delegation to Australia to promote India Aviation 2014 event and to promote bilateral aerospace linkages between two countries. He represented India at the Diplomatic Conference at ICAO, Montreal in April 2014, to sign and adopt a Protocol to amend the Convention on offences and certain other Acts committed on board Aircraft (Tokyo 1963).

As Chairman & Managing Director of Pawan Hans, he participated in Farnborough International Air show in 2012 at London and MAKS 2013 at Moscow. Under his stewardship Pawan Hans has turned around to a profit making company and is planning to venture into fixed wing operations along with being the biggest helicopter operator in this part of the world having a fleet of more than 50 helicopters.
