Barbara Dalibard, Chief Executive Officer, SITA

Barbara Dalibard is CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of SITA. Since joining SITA in July 2016, Barbara has outlined a clear vision for SITA to make air travel easier at every step, for airports, airlines and the broader air transport industry.
Barbara has brought a passion for innovation and transformation to the role. Leveraging strong management experience in the IT and transport industries, Barbara has begun to reshape SITA into a key provider of solutions to meet the changing requirements of the industry, with an increased focus on airport and airlines operations.
Barbara joined SITA from SNCF (the French National Railway Company), a Fortune 500 company. At SNCF she served as CEO of SNCF Voyageurs and was responsible for managing all passenger traffic, long distance and commuter services. Barbara was also a member of the French rail operator’s Management Committee.
The majority of her career was spent at Orange where she held a variety of senior management positions and was responsible for creating new internet and mobile service offerings. She rose through the ranks to become head of the company’s enterprise offering, first for France and then internationally. Later, Barbara served as CEO of Orange Business Services for seven years.
She holds a Master of Science and Engineering from Telecom ParisTech and a Master of Mathematics from the Ecole Normale Supérieure. She was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by the Ecole Polytechnique and the University of Montreal.
She is a member of the French Academy of Technologies.
Barbara is based at SITA's global headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
