Babar Rahman, Head of Global Sponsorships of C.S.R. and Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity, Qatar Airways

Babar Rahman is responsible for driving the Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity strategy at Qatar Airways. In addition, he manages Global Sponsorships and Community Relations for the airline.

In his role managing IFE, Qatar Airways relaunched the Inflight Entertainment as Oryx One, enhanced content selection and content promotion strategies, increased connectivity usage, introduced the region-first on-board Wi-Fi sponsorship, pioneered integrated NFC on-board the latest fleet and successfully introduced the Qatar Airways ‘Super-Wifi’ Broadband connectivity which makes it the first airline in the MENA region to offer global hi-speed internet on-board. 

He is keeping Qatar Airways at the forefront of Inflight Entertainment/Connectivity by introducing innovative products to drive maximum value for the airline .
