Peter Jackson, CEO, The AMR Centre UK

Dr Peter Jackson is Executive Director of the AMR Centre – a UK public-private partnership focused on antimicrobial resistance R&D, and an alliance member of the transatlantic CARB-X initiative.  An experienced life sciences entrepreneur, Dr Jackson is the founder of six life sciences ventures over the past 10 years.
Before that,  he had over 15 years in the sector, previously holding senior executive roles as a Commercial Director and then head of Avecia’s Pharmaceutical Products business unit, following senior commercial and R&D positions at Zeneca and ICI. Dr Jackson was also a founder director of the National Skills Academy for Process Industries.
