Fidelma Leonor Fariñas-Cobas | Vice President, International Key Accounts

As Vice President of International Key Accounts for Sun Life Financial, Fidelma is responsible for the development of global distribution relationships with the executive teams at firms throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Previously, Fidelma served as Regional Vice President, working with financial advisors in territories including Florida, Brazil, Peru and Central America. In that role, she was responsible for wholesale of Sun Life Financial’s international products through a variety of channels including private banks and wirehouses. 

Prior to joining the Sun Life team in 2009, Fidelma worked at AllianceBernstein, in both its International Mutual Fund sales division as well as its Private Client group. There she supported the relationship with broker dealers throughout New York and California to help promote the growth of AllianceBernstein’s offshore mutual fund sales. 

Fidelma received a Bachelor’s Degree in Latin American History and Literature from Harvard University, and an MBA in International Management from the University of Miami. Fidelma also holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license 7.
