Stuart Anderson was appointed to the new role of Head of Retail at Transport for London in January 2013. Stuart has had over 30 years experience in the retail property sector. He began his career with Drivers Jonas working on the Crown Estate Regent Street portfolio. He was a property fund manager at both the Prudential and Legal and General where he was involved in large scale retail property transactions. He worked for Marks and Spencer for 6 years and was actively involved in the store rationalisation programme and the roll out of the first Simply Food convenience stores. More recently Stuart spent 2 years at Westfield where he headed up the leasing and asset management function at Westfield London and 6 other regional shopping centres.
