Mr Nick Watson | Sales Director, Rail Systems

Nick Watson is Sales Director for Siemens Rail Systems in the UK - a division of Siemens that employs some 700 people nationwide and maintains over 350 passenger trains each day.  He is responsible for sales and business development strategy for metro, commuter, intercity and high speed rolling stock in the UK. 

Nick joined Siemens in March 2013 from Hitachi Rail Europe, where he was responsible for commercial, business development and strategic planning activities for the UK and Europe.  Nick’s broader experience within the UK rail industry includes some 10 years with HSBC Rail (now Eversholt Rail Group) during which he held a number of roles including taking overall responsibility for HSBC's portfolio of Intercity and Freight rolling stock assets.

Nick studied at Cranfield University School of Management where he gained a Masters in Business Administration.
