Mr Matthew Griffin | Transforming IM Design Authority

Matt is currently a design authority on the ambitious programme to deliver a transformation in the way TfL uses information technology. His other role is Head of Information Management (IM) Business Relationship Management at for Transport for London (TfL). TfL is the functional body responsible for implementing the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy and the management of transport services across the Capital. His responsibilities cover IM Strategy and Innovation, Enterprise Architecture, as well as the business interface between Information Management and the three main areas of TfL, Surface Transport; Rail and Underground and Specialist Services. Previously Matt was the Head of Strategy and Innovation at London Underground where the idea for delivery of WiFi underground was closely linked to the delivery of other operational objectives. Matt is responsible for ensuring IM plays its part in the ongoing transport service improvements delivered through technology change. Matt has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector including a stint managing a Cambridge start up and as an Information Architect at Capgemini.  For more information, please visit: www.tfl.gov.uk
