Daan Van Aert is Head of Non-listed Real Estate - Asia of APG Investments Asia Limited, the Hong Kong investment subsidiary of APG Algemene Pensioen Groep N.V. in the Netherlands, one of the largest pension fund asset managers in the world with assets under management of approximately €277 billion (as at 31 December 2010). Mr. Van Aert is based in Hong Kong and responsible for all non-listed real estate activities in Asia Pacific with about €2 billion assets under management. Mr. Van Aert holds an MSc in Economics, is a CFA charter holder, received a Post Doctorate Degree in Real Estate from the University of Amsterdam and is a Master of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
