Judging Process: Entries are open from 01 Dec 2010 until 11 Feb 2011. All nominations for each category will be forwarded to the independent panel of judges for review. Selections for the highly commended and the short list for each category will be determined purely on the basis of the submission from the entrant or nominee. Winners are announced at the Awards Dinner.

The 2011 Metros judging panel are world renowned experts in the field of urban transport.

Judges affiliation will remain anonymous to ensure that the process remains objective and that the judges views can be expressed without bringing into question their professional interests.

Members of the judging panel are confirmed from non-governmental organisations, academic and research institutes, industry wide experts and affiliate member associations and consultancies.

The panel of judges have a combined knowledge and experience of over 200 years at the forefront of metro and urban transport.
