NB. All nominations submitted will be judged against their relevance to a timescale of March 01, 2010 to March 01, 2011. Submissions relating to activities outside of this 1 year timescale will not be put forward to the judging panel.

Summary: To identify the industry’s leading innovator who has creatively integrated new technologies to enhance their metro and their passengers’ experience.

Judges will be looking for:

• First to market with advanced technology and/or maximising existing technology
• Vision and creativity throughout planning and implementation
• Smooth integration in a cost effective manner
• Maximisation of the lifecycle of the investment
• Delivery of real value to the metro system and its passengers
• Future potential to further advance/expand upon the technology
