I am a telecom industry expert with 25 years’ experience in policy, regulatory, strategy, M&A, commercial and business development across emerging and developed markets.
I shaped Vodafone's data strategy for emerging markets, drove IBM's Telco off-shoring and next generation strategies in the mid 2000s, and at PwC have advised on 20+ telco privatisation and sector reform programs and many clients on growth and market entry agendas. I have worked in 83 countries, lived in 7 and speak 6 languages.
I served as Myanmar's national telecommunications adviser in 2015. I serve on the advisory board of OnDeviceResearch, a UK start up using mobile device technologies, and as Board member at mPower which is a social enterprise using digital and mobile technology to deliver services in developing countries. I advise the GSMA on industry matters and have been a keynote speaker or panel chair at Mobile World Congress the past five years. I serve as a mentor to Phandeeyar's tech aceelerator programme in Myanmar, and to Endeavor in Indonesia.
