Ms. Puah Ser Sze is the Director of Investment Services, Malaysia and is responsible for Towers Watson’s investment services business. She provides investment advice to government/public funds, endowments, corporate surplus, social security, pension funds and insurance funds on a variety of investment issues. Her clients span ASEAN and the Middle East. She provides advice related to governance, stochastic asset liability modeling, investment strategy, portfolio construction, manager structure design and analysis, manager research and selection, custodian selection and performance analysis.
Ms. Puah started her career with Watson Wyatt’s Benefits practice, providing actuarial services to Malaysian and Thailand clients. The areas she had been involved in include providing analysis on funding & reserving (actuarial valuations, accounting disclosures), benefit projections and strategic analysis (plan designs, harmonisations, conversions, integrations). She was the lead consultant for a few local, listed conglomerates, multinationals and Thai state-owned companies.
Ms. Puah is an actuarial graduate from the University of Melbourne, Australia, as well as, an Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia, AIAA (1999) and a CFA charterholder (2002).
