Thi-Mai Tran started her carreer in the automotive & defence sectors. She held several senior positions along the years as Head of Urbanism & Transport; Director for Railroad Export; Sales Director for Tramway on Tyres (TRANSLOHR) for China and Japan.
In 2005, Tran joined ALSTOM Transport as the Business Development Director for South-Europe–Middle East (SEE-MEA) and later the Middle-East /North- Africa (MENA). In 2010 She was appointed as the Managing Director for Morocco and . Tran served as Country President for both Alstom Transport and Alstom Power (thermal and hydro power plants, solar tenders) activities from 2010 to 2016. In the rail mainline sector, Tran has been leading the VHS (Very High Speed) line Tangiers –Kenitra development and implementation as well as the renovation of the ONCF locomotives and in the urban sector. She also managed the full installation and commissioning of the Rabat and Casablanca tramway lines.
Since 2016, Tran has been working in the Gulf as the Managing Director of the Gulf countries. She is also the Foreign Trade Advisor to the French Government since 2014.
