John Pattar, Managing Director, CLSA Capital Partners

John Pattar joined CLSA Capital Partners in 2004 as Managing Director for the day to day operation of Fudo Capital, property funds specifically targeting direct investment in real estate in Asia-Pacific.  He has worked in Asian real estate markets for 26 years; including South East Asia from 1992-1997, and from 1998 in Hong Kong covering principally North Asia.  John’s experience in property covers property investment, development, capital transactions and asset management in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia and Thailand.  On behalf of funds and principals of CLSA Capital Partners, John has sourced and completed property deals in Asia of approximately US$5 billion.  He has a bachelor of Laws degree from London University (LLB) and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (F.R.I.C.S.).
