George Wachsmann has a B.S. in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo and received his M. Sc. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University. He has over 18 years of expertise in the financial market. Prior to establishing BAWM, he was a partner at Fiducia Asset Management, in charge of the Advisory business. Wachsmann set up the Fund of Funds group at Unibanco, where he was responsible for assessing domestic and offshore managers during the period 2001-2004. Previously he worked at Dresdner RCM Global Investors, in San Francisco, CA, and at Unibanco Asset Management, São Paulo, as offshore funds manager and investment analyst. He was appointed ANBIMA’s Financial Wealth Managers Committee Coordinator for the fiscal years 2011. Mr. Wachsmann is an arbitrator of the FGV Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas – FGV/RJ.
