Fabiano Guido Rios - BA degree in Business Administration – FGV/SP, Brazil. Started his career as a trainee at Banco CCF Brasil (Credit Comerciale de France). In 1997 joined Banco Santander Brazil as a Proprietary trader at the Equity Desk. Became Head of the Equity Desk in 2002 and Co-Head of the FX Desk in 2006. In 2007 jointed Merrill Lynch Strategic Risk Group (SRG), a proprietary Hedge Fund inside Merrill Lynch, as responsible for structuring the Latin American Portfolio. In 2008 left Merrill to start an Asset Management Business, as Co-founder and responsible for the Portfolio Management Department. In May 2009 joined Claritas as CIO responsible for Arbitrage/Equity Hedge strategies. Former Member of the Financial Assets Committee of the BM&F and former member of the Stock, Index and ADR Committee at BOVESPA.
