with Professor David Seedhouse, NZ; CEO of VIDe Ltd, creators of The Values Exchange; well-known author on health care, ethics and decision-making.

The Values Exchange is a unique web-based debating system. The system allows students to explore any social issue using 'Facebook-style' technology and powerful social concepts (my feelings, hopes, ideals, equality, law). Students eagerly grasp the chance to use 'cool' software in schools, and to debate issues that really matter. The Values Exchange is perfect for Digital Technology as students explore the Dashboard of instant results (charts, free text, images) in class as soon as they submit their ideas.

Learn how to enhance teaching in all areas of the curriculum, using either a free of charge Values Exchange or a private one for individual schools. At the end of the session participants will understand the background to the system, how students can best use it, how to set up their own cases for debate, and how to explore results live with excited students.

NOTE: You will get the most out of this session if you bring along a wireless enabled laptop.
